Once again drama and intrigue was created at the Gareth Pugh autumn winter 2013 collection. Taking his inspiration from a tribe called the Asgarda who live in the Carpathian Mountains; Gareth Pugh took you on a journey into the mountains by using smoke machines to give the effect of light fog, and shutters on windows allowing in small beams of light.
The mood was dark, but also ethereal, and his creations wrapped the models in pieces of wearable art creating a statuesque A-line silhouette. Gowns, tops, and coats were beautifully structured with exaggerated collars and lapels. Gareth Pugh told the story of the Gothic warrior woman.
