My current covet is the ALEXANDER WANG anouck Chelsea boot with rhodium. It's interesting to know that this style of boot dates back to Victorian times; J. Sparkes-Hall - bootmaker to Queen Victoria back in 1837 - is accredited with designing what we now know as the Chelsea boot. In particular the elastic inserts on either side made the boots easy to slip on and off. In the 1960s the Chelsea boot was a part of the Mod look and The Beatles further popularised this trend. Today the Chelsea boot has a totally modern look and my favourite design is by ALEXANDER WANG with its signature cut out stacked leather heel with rhodium metal plate.
